The plural of plectrum in English is plectrums when talking about guitar picks but plectra when talking about the mechanism of a harpsichord! Tortiseshell doesn't come from a tortoise, but a giant turtle and it's now banned in the UK unless made before the date when it was banned, whenever that was. Anyway whoever found my plectrum can keep it. I've been offered a job as drummer with a band called "Stone Dead Leopard" who are a tribute band for TDL and we do parodies of TDL songs!
