quoth Bert: In and out the corners, round the Johnny Horners,
We were a pair of fair clean goners.

Can anyone tell me what a "fair clean goner" is?
And would "goner" ever be pronounced "gorner" for some reason?
Or is there a sudden loss of interest in rhyming just here?

And what's a Johnny Horner, if not rhyming slang for corner?
It seems odd to use it that way immediately after the word it rhymes.
