I dare you to quote evidence from the proposed legislation and give us details about the "biometric tracking technology" and how it affects us. I don't care to see any information from any source other than the U.S. Congress. Proposed legislation is public record. If what you say is the truth, prove it - from public record.

Fine. Let's see... I know google is a pretty exotic device to some, but it turns up this, from the Wall Street Journal:

Under the potentially controversial plan still taking shape in the Senate, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information, such as fingerprints, to tie the card to the worker....

"It is fundamentally a massive invasion of people's privacy," said Chris Calabrese, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. "We're not only talking about fingerprinting every American, treating ordinary Americans like criminals in order to work. We're also talking about a card that would quickly spread from work to voting to travel to pretty much every aspect of American life that requires identification."

Our plan has four pillars: requiring biometric Social Security cards to ensure that illegal workers cannot get jobs;

Each card's unique biometric identifier would be stored only on the card; no government database would house everyone's information. The cards would not contain any private information, medical information or tracking devices. The card would be a high-tech version of the Social Security card that citizens already have.

Ohhh... So they're just going to UPGRADE your Social Security card. Damn. This is FAR worse than is being reported. The Real I.D. Act failed miserably, so now they're going to sneak the RFID tracking device into the SS card. In your old age you won't have Social Security because Il Duce Obama gave all that away to the banks and insurance companies, but you'll have a biometric SS card. How considerate. Don't leave home without it.

Some TV watcher I talked to the other day was griping about illegals being ablt to get "bunches" of SS cards to pass them out to their family members. Now I see what he was talking about. The mainstream media is planting stories on TV that will result in congress "having to do something" about the problem.
