Jim Dixon got it right. As a young boy back in the early 1930's, I remember playing that record on my aunts wind up Victrola. I thought the song was sung by the Vaudevillians, "Two Black Crows," but maybe not. In any case, my memory of the lyrics coincides exactly with those Jim Dixon listed. BTW: Another great song from that era was, "The moon shines on the moonshine. I have the lyrics if anyone is interested.
