Rockhen Songwriting Evening,Grimsby UK 17.5.10 (8) Songwriting Evening,Grimsby UK 17.5.10 08 May 10

Just to let you know that there will be a 2nd Songwriting Evening on Monday 17th May, 8pm start. It will be at the same venue, the Grimsby British Legion at Cartergate, Grimsby. (Map link and location info, below.) We may ask for a small amount toward the cost of the room, this time, but it will be a maximum of £1.50, just to cover costs.

(If anyone wishes to share an extract of something they have written, started writing/got stuck on, that would be great but we also hope to give people chance to work on their own ideas or one or two activities, in smaller groups within the evening. The emphasis placed on what is most useful/enjoyable to each person, individually.)

As before, feel free to bring guitars etc if you wish. We have no p.a. I will have my stage piano so just let me know on the night, if you prefer to use piano/keyboard and you are very welcome to use it.
All welcome, whether experienced or beginner, previous attendees or newbies! Looking forward to it! It is helpful but not vital, if you let us know, if you can make it, so we can make sure we photocopy enough for everyone, if we have any handouts etc.
PM me for further info
PS Please also PM me if you need help with access as we were unfortunately unable to find an alternative venue. We are in an upstairs room and the existing stair lift is not working, at present.

(If driving, Cartergate is one way, so approach from the Deansgate/Dudley Street end and then the venue is over the crossing and on the left just before you get to the Chantry Street junction. The car park is to the left of the Legion Building.)(Bus station next to Freshney Shopping Centre)
