GUEST,Nathan Looking for Hamper Mcbee Lp (46) RE: Looking for Hamper Mcbee Lp 18 May 10

There is in fact a new Hamper McBee release (CD & LP) due out June 22, 2010, through the Twos & Fews imprint on Drag City Records. It's called "The Good Old-Fashioned Way: Hamper McBee of Monteagle, Tennessee" and it's drawn from recent transfers of Charles Wolfe and Sol Korine's 1977-78 recordings of Hamper from the MTSU Center for Popular Music archive, from which came Rounder's "Raw Mash" record. It reissues that album plus 12 unreleased songs and stories (see asterisks below). For more info write nathan [at] culturalequity [dot] org.
