There is in fact a new Hamper McBee release (CD & LP) due out June 22, 2010, through the Twos & Fews imprint on Drag City Records. It's called "The Good Old-Fashioned Way: Hamper McBee of Monteagle, Tennessee" and it's drawn from recent transfers of Charles Wolfe and Sol Korine's 1977-78 recordings of Hamper from the MTSU Center for Popular Music archive, from which came Rounder's "Raw Mash" record.
