Here are a few singarounds that are on this week: Monday 7 June: The Owl, Rodley, Leeds from 9pmTuesday 8 June: The Abbey, Newlay nr Bramley, Leeds from 8:30pm These are not folk clubs per se with a wide variety of music (including folk!)performed but they are friendly and welcoming. Both pubs serve excellent ale,and have decent parking for the unfortunate driver. Wednesday 9 June: The Packhorse, off Briggate, Leeds from 8:30pm This is a fairly new venture set up by Ed & Carol from the Grove. The pub is in the centre of Leeds, in an alley just off Briggate. A prominent sign shows the way. It's a folkier event than the above, and equally friendly, with typically eight or ten singers. Word of warning: the bar staff don't always realize anything's going on upstairs! Thursday 10 June: Topic folk club, Bradford. Not sure what's on this week but they have regular singers' nights. Google them to double check. Friday 11 June: Folk @ the Grove, Back Row, Water Lane, Leeds from 8:30pm This is a terrific (mostly) traditional singers' night in another fine real ale pub. Again, a warm welcome is assured. Hope this helps Wayne
