I was pretty well caught up on the garden until yesterday, when I went to a sale of Michigan native plants (bought 5). On the way home, I stopped at a big garden center (bought 3 more). Now I have to find places for them. Somebody stop me, please!

The rain is keeping me inside today (big storm last night), so I'm doing laundry. Fourth load is running now, with one more to go.

Played (guitar) in a session on Friday night (4 hours), then we all played for a ceili on Sat night (4 more hours). When I woke up this morning, my left hand was so stiff & achy (and a little swollen) that I could barely close it, let alone make a fist.

I made a batch of carrot-apple muffins-- so yummy spread with cream cheese. By the time I washed all those dishes, the hot water had relaxed my left hand, and I can move it pretty well now. I hate getting old. I'm starting to sound like my mother did.
