...cuz 99% of females always want to be "The Singer" so, there actually are not enough numbers in terms of INSTRUMENTALISTS that form (let's face it) The CORE of actual bands. And, imo, being the Singer is "easy" - most band singers are not major singers (chops, major range, Celine Dion!), they just are average in scope, they aren't shy at just carrying a tune (which, btw, MOST instrumentalists are very capable of doing)
