Absolutely right. And Norma should be Dame. Why is that the folk genre has none? The acting luvvies are awash with Sirs and Dames, and pop has its share - Sir Mick, Sir Paul, Sir Elton and Sir Cliff for starters. What about Jazz - was Johnny Dankworth one? As for classical, well there's loads. Why not folk? People like Martin and Norma (and there are plenty of others) have been around long enough and done just as much for music as many of these others. As for Sir Rallan (now Lord Sugar) - where will it end? Lord Carthy of Robin Hoods Bay has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
