some more info on the McColl album:-1) "Parcel of Rogues" is by Burns lamenting the fact that the Scottish Parliament of 1707 had sold off Scoland as an independant nation;2)"Ye Jacobites by Name" is also by Rabbie,who was a Jacobite by traditon and emotion but by this time was a Govt.Customs Officer by employment and had to appear pro-Hanoverian; 3) "Haughs of Cromdale" is an anachronistic song concerning Montrose against Cromwell's(!) army (but it's still a great song); 4) "Piper of Dundee" refers to Claverhouse of Dundee; and 5)"Wee,Wee German Lairdie is a manufactured on by Cunningham.
