I see today that the Iroquois lacrosse team have been denied UK visas to particpate in a lacrosse competition here in the UK. The problem, as the bureaucrats see it, is that Native American passports are not acceptable travel documents - they are made of bark and skin. The Iroquois are entitled to Canadian passports but refuse to apply as this denies them their birthright, as they see it. You have to wonder what problems letting this team into the UK would cause? They're unlikely to claim asylum or attempt terrorist acts against the UK. 1-0 to the bureaucrats!
