Yea!!! Bobert and I agree on something!!! As I explained, "Party of Lincoln" was NOT the title I intended. As much as I appreciate some of the RESULTS of Lincoln's Presidency, I wonder if a truly great president couldn't have gotten the same results with less bloodshed, and without stirring up a century of resentment and backlash. That backlash was still strong when I lived in South Carolina in the 1960s. The success of people such as Allen West, Charles Lollar, and Tim Scott shows the progress the South has made in the last 40 years. Kent
