This may not help much... I inherited my mother's sheet music collection, mostly built up in the 1920s. The Castle of Dromore is in there. The credits indicate the English words were written by Harold Boulton, with an Irish translation by Douglas Hyde. The melody is described as an old Irish air, arranged by Arthur Somervell. The inside sheet includes the gaelic translation. The English version submitted by Taconius above is the version I have.
