I was taught this verse at school. I know all the different versions differ but I learnt the one that goes:
Early in the morning,
When I was fast asleep,
I heard a little chirping,
I heard a little cheep.
It was a little birdy,
With a very funny name.
It was an Eine Kleine Finger Fanga Echola Bochola Jingla Jangla Eating Spitting bannana Eating bird.
Then at the end you say to the next person "your turn" and you all sing it in like a round. I don't know the other verses or how to pronounce any of it, but I know this is right.
P.S Some of it is German. Eine Kleine means small.
