For Guest LDT "I think I'll have to find myself a B&B." I'm fairly sure there are B&Bs that will be cheaper than the actual hotels: they will get booked up a long time in advance, though. "What would be the best combination of lets say 3-4 days to do? Is mid-week or weekend best to catch all the stuff going on?" Mid-week has by far the more interesting stuff, in my opinion, although slightly less dance displays etc. on the sea-front. Can't answer your stewarding query - don't know.
