Good to hear from you, Rob. Don't think we did at that time.. there were a couple of bands - the Dalesfolk and one involving Mick Sheehan - who were already singing at that time.. We had just started and were tending to do private functions at that time with the line-up we had. It was only when Sandy Still joined us in about 1978-9 that we sang in more traditional folk settings. Digging the ore tub out sounds like a fair achievement. Where is it now, I wonder? You will know that there has not been a great deal of development of the display of mining history in the area other than at the folk museum at Reeth up to now.
