I know the song from hearing it sung by "Uncle Floyd" (Floyd Vivino--you can find him on WikiPedia) a local North Jersey entertainer. He sings it "Susan, Susan,...." and includes verses sitting in a shoe-shine shop, a Chevrolet, a tailor's shop (I think), butcher shop ("...all day long she plucks the ducks, all day long the ducks she plucks...") -- I think there's one or two more but I can't think of 'em right now. |
