Leeneia2 - the Open University is a 'proper' university, offering degree courses by distance learning. What you describe sounds more like the University of the Third Age or simply 'Evening Classes' which offer primarily recreational courses. Surely Green Man just needs to start going to a folk club or clubs on a regular basis. I think Mr Red's site covers Worcestershire.
