That time has come around again when we will all be thinking of Colin. Not being on here until now I didn't quite know which thread to pick up on, but this seems appropriate. Our family memories of Colin were a great help when we heard of his passing. A favourite one was Otley Folk Festival 2001. The first time we had been & he told us to arrive early & he would sort us a nice level spot for our van, which he did. On the Friday morning having offered to help & being told he was o.k we ventured up the Chevin & looked down on the campsite to see colin waving his arms franticaly & shouting "more loo's this way" (well that's what we imagined he was shouting as we couldn't quite hear)at a lorry load of portaloo's. My daughter nicknamed him "more loo's Colin" from then on. After that year he stayed with us when he was indulging in his other passion, Vintage vehicles, & a great time we always had. My daughter now 23 still thinks of him as more loo's colin when reminiscing about festival events of the past. May his memory live on through this site as I am sure there are lots of stories funny, serious, happy & sad people still could tell about this wounderful gentleman.
