It is indeed a little gem, and not of the lettucey kind. I'm not the world's biggest concertina fan, but these tunes are delightful. They're played skillfully, thoughtfully and enthusiastically; there's contrast; there are some old favourites and others completely new to me, although not the world. It is a collection of different pieces, rather than a conglomeration of the same 3 tunes, played 14 times which so many CDs these days sound like. Only one bugbear - when ripping the CD to the computer (we store all our music on a separate hard drive, for transferral to MP3, or in case of accident/fire/divorce proceedings), there is no info on the CD, no track listing, no artist or even a title. Or is it just our computer being touchy? It is a very restful album, even the artwork is calm and gentle. Well worth the money and one that will be played often I think. It gets **** and added to my 'favourites' list! Thank you, Ralphie. A far cry from the last CD I got from you! :D LTS (That's four stars by the way, not an expletive).
