WFDU - Ron Olesko Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club needs a logo (3) Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club needs a logo 21 Sep 10

Some of you might know that the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club in Fair Lawn, New Jersey will celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2011.   Our plans include a special concert in December of 2011 - the month when our first concert was held in Fair Lawn back in 1981!

As we look to the anniversary and start planning our next 30 years, we thought it might be a good time to come up with a new logo for our club. ANYONE can enter - all you need is an idea!

We are looking for a new logo that embodies the Hurdy Gurdy's three decade legacy of presenting concerts that represent the diverse folk music community as well as our commitment to perpetuating folk music for at least 30 more years!

The winning logo will personify the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club and appear ina variety of placements, potentially including websites, newsletters, flyers, bumperstickers, t-shirts, letterhead, merchandise, etc.

The Prize Winner will receive SEASON TICKETS FOR TWO for the 2011-2012 season, plus be our special guest (with a companion) to our June 5, 2011 concert where we will invite the winner onstage as we unveil our new logo.

For details, and a downloadable entry form, go directly to our website - Hurdy Gurdy Logo Contest .

We are accepting entries through December 31. Please pass this note along to anyone you know that might be interested. We look forward to seeing your great designs. Good luck!!!
