Never met him, never saw him live, but thanks to Jimmy Saville's double top-ten radio show I grew up with 'Rosie' as part of the soundtrack to my life. Later I introduced it into The Ploughmen's set, and I still play it on 'ukulele at our Tuesday Plough session. Sad news, but all I can say is: Well played, Don. Thanks for the great song. I'll raise a glass to you tomorrow eve.
