I am a U.K based folk/rock singer and I would like any advice on what to do and who to contact in the music recording business in order to get my voice heard. Which record companies are specifically interested in folk/rock? Also I am unsure what the best medium for demos are: tape,MP3... and how many tracks do you record? Where do you get a good manager? I have not writen my own material, however If I was working with someone I am confident we could produce great things. My main vocal influences include Sandy Denny and Jacqui McShee (Pentangle).
