Hi all,

what can I say? Very many thanks for the prompt and numerous replies to my thread!! Now I know how to keep up to date and where to go to listen to some folk music (and even to sing, if the possibility should arise - there's even an open mic evening at the "Half Moon"!).

Unfortunately I have no wheels - not even a bike - so I suppose that for the moment I will limit myself to the exploration of Oxford town... Still it is very good news to know that there is a fairly good amount of events in other bits of Oxfordshire too (not that I am surprised)!

I guess that tomorrow evening I will go to the "Folly Bridge Inn" - maybe there will be some Mudcatters there?
