Joe:

I'm an original FSGW Founder, Further I've spoken to the powers that be on the FSGW Board, what's going on here, is an attempt at expanding the getaway presentations as a means of attracting new member as well as increasing available funding for the getaways.
Seriously Joe, there's no threat here. The FSGW is a volunteer based organization, and lord knows I've done more then my share of volunteering.

The one thing that's been noted over and over again is the quote "there's just not enough time..."

I'm semi-retired and have lots of time to invest in this, my particular passion.

Most others in the FSGW, have full time jobs, families etc. So of course, they always hve little time.

Further, I' live here in the Silver Spring, MD area...immediately available to all or anyone who might need my personal attention, and less then 30 minutes from the getaway site itself.

I'm astounded and just don't understand why you've chosen to attack me in this manner?

I guess that no good deed goes unpunished, wouldn't a pm or an e-mail have served better then this uncalled for public display showing nothing other then your personal position, and having nothing to do with what I'm attempting to do here in the best interests (my opinion) of the FSGW organization.

Could you explain to me, perhaps by e-mail, your need to stifle volunteerism, in an organization based upon such volunteerism?

With all due respect.
