Hi to anyone interested in writing songs...if you are in the Grimsby area of northern Lincolnshire...(or prepared to travel there!)
We are hosting our October Songwriting Evening at 8pm Monday 18th Oct, 2010 at Grimsby British Legion, Friargate House, Cartergate, Grimsby DN31 1QZ (Free parking at the venue)
It is aimed at anyone who already writes songs, or is interested in hearing how others write, at having a go at starting/finishing a song/getting help/just sharing ideas. Most aspects of songwriting.
It doesn't matter if you haven't been before. We have a core group of about 8 people who attend most months plus a few who pop in for one or more nights. Come along and see if it is for you. You will be made welcome.
No pressure, just listen to others, or you may join in as much as you wish. It is not a singaround evening, we usually have a theme or two, running from the last session, but there is also time to look at individual ideas about songs or ask questions, share ideas etc
