I live in Northeast PA (Luzerne Co.) and I am looking for players to start a folk group/loose assemblage with OR looking to join a group. I have been singing and writing songs for 20 years (and I'm only 26!), I write poetry and play a number of instruments:

Guitar (rhythm and lead); some fingerstyle Harmonica Mandolin Ukulele* Banjo* Washboard Kazoo Tin Whistle*

The star (*) indicates "I play some, not exactly expert"

I am not able to drive (NJ DMV thought that was a bad idea) but I can work out transportation when necessary or use buses and/or cabs.

HERE IS THE BIG ISSUE: (FOR SOME FOLKS IT'S A BIG ISSUE)

I am a Christian and a minister/preacher/prayer counselor. I am a very loving person and I do not judge andyone. However, the fact is that I will not compromise my relationship with God by playing songs with explicit lyrics or by being hassled about not smoking/drinking. I smoked for 15 years (3 packs a day for 12 of them) and I used to drink like a fish so I am not "holier-than-thou"... I just choose to live my life the way my God directs me to.

I love to play! I love to travel! Any gig is a good one if we can play it! Writing, swapping, "borrowing", I love it all! If you live in the NE PA/Luzerne/Lackawanna/Wyoming County area or elsewhere and are willing to travle and play for fun or profit, please contact me!

Music I'd like to play with you...

Folk Blues Gospel Cajun Appalachian Mtn. Ballads Modern Folk Singer/Songwriters and maybe more if we put our heads together!

Keep in touch!
