Flatt and Scruggs certainly recorded "A Hundred Years From Now" and even used their names in the writers' credits, but I'm not so sure they were originally responsible for the song. Clyde Moody recorded the number in 1947 and finding his version prompted me to search further. I have now discovered that the duo of Bob Atcher and Bonnie Blue Eyes recorded a song called "I Won't Care (A Hundred Years From Now)" in June 1940, releasing it on Conqueror 9595. I believe this is the same number, but have not yet been able to find a recording. I'd also like to know what writing credits are indicated on the label. For a bit more info on the origins of the number, see http://davidneale.eu/elvis/originals/list1.html#S1111
