I've just found JB on the 1881 census!! He is Using the name Heyes and masquerading as an innkeeper. My interest was sparked pretty sure it's him though, because the initials, names of children and ages all match up. And, they are located at 18 churchgate, as suggested by the 1885 death certificate of Henry Birchall Geoghegan. See the link below:
