Nope, IF I ever come back stateside, I will do what I did last year, fly into Canada, and bus across to the US. Good option if you can do it. When I flew from Sydney to Vancouver a couple of years ago the flight was via Honolulu; just a fuel stop. However all passengers were required to leave the aircraft, go through US customs, then reboard. This for a flight that wasn't even going to USA. Do any other countries do a similar thing? Certainly, flying from Australia to UK one doesn't have to go through customs at Singapore or Dubai if not overnighting there.
