Mark your calendars now for the fifth annual performances of "A Gaelic Christmas," featuring international recording artist Mary Mc Laughlin and her Cór Ainglí Irish-language choir. This year we'll be offering four shows, including two afternoon matinees: MATINEE SHOWS: Sunday, December 5, 4:00 p.m., at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 9850 Monroe Av., Aptos Sunday, December 12, 4:00 p.m., at Advent Lutheran Church, 16870 Murphy Av., Morgan Hill EVENING SHOWS: Friday, December 10, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 126 High St., Santa Cruz Saturday, December 18, 7:00 p.m., at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 81 North Second St., Downtown San Jose Concerts feature original choral arrangements of Christmas song in Irish Gaelic, including both traditional Irish carols and well-known European and American carols that have been translated into Irish, performed by Mary and Cór Ainglí. Also featured are the well-known world music vocal ensemble Zambra (http://www.zambra.org/.
