Two contemporary folk musicians use recitaion to GREAT effect in concert, Ellis Paul and David Wilcox. They catch your attention and, just incidentally, allow time to re-tune the six-string. For me it was IF (you can keep your head about you are losing theirs...), Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty... as well as countless chapters and verses from scripture (esp 1Cor. 13. Psa. 1 and 23) John
