Back to the show-- It turns out to be a dynamite travel promotion show, done by a major on-the-camera talent. The correct measure is the number of viewers and the long-term effect on Alaska tourism. The ratings are already in and are very good. I'd say that the tourism numbers are going to be good also. Quoting Freud: sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Sometimes a state tourism promotion show done by an ex-governor is just what it looks like. If this isn't the most effective one of those ever done, it's pretty darn close. The state of Alaska has gotten a very, very, good boost.
