All this geographical discussion is very confusing to me. The North East (Note the capitals) was always understood to be the North East of England and was that before America was discovered and before the Union of England and Scotland (Which is only recognised by some as the union of Scottish and Newcastle Breweries!). So - Well done Gillian. I'll take my tongue out of my cheek now all mudcatters out there, before I'm swamped by abuse! Gan canny y'aal wherever you may be
