Hi Last Christmas there was a radio programme on Radio 4 about the tradition in Yorkshire, specifically Sheffield, of carols being sung in pubs. The tradition came from church congregations being told to leave because of being rowdy, or something on those lines. The only pub I can remember the presenter mentioning is the Royal pub. Does anyone have any details on where to go? I'm sure there's lots of pubs named 'Royal'! Ta, Greg
