For forty years I've been hearing folkies make jokes about Leonard Cohen's depressing songs. I steered clear of his albums and concerts,Recently I've been watching his PBS special and found the songs to be profound and inspiring, and Leonard's performance warm, exciting, even hypnotic. Any thoughts?
