I've just watched this on the BBC iPlayer. A very enjoyable programme, very well produced and directed by Ellen Hobson. Given an hour, I would have hoped for a tighter edit to enable the inclusion of Grenoside or Handsworth Londsword, but I guess that they didn't commission the programme early enough to film them last Boxing Day and couldn't delay the programme to file them this Boxing Day. It's a shame because longsword is very important in the makeup of English traditional dance, but nevertheless, a good overview of 'Dancing England'. Watch it here (if it works in your country).
