Are there any irish sessions, song circles, or acoustic open mic events of interest near the Long Beach area? I'm headed out there for a regatta next week and will have a few evenings free. Basically, I need to decide whether to drag along a guitar or just pack a few whistles. Recommendations for good folk music, beer lists, or single malt selections within preferably walking (or crawling?) distance of the Long Beach Yacht Club would be really welcome as well. ~S~
