Les. Might I suggest you get hold of a copy of this years, "Folk Music Journal" Somehow. A subscription to EFDSS would do the job. In it you will find at the back (page 157)a rather excellently written review of a 10 CD set on French music. "Anthologie des musiques traditionelles" From all areas of France and beyond.
