Make plans to join the festivities at The Colorado Cowboy Gathering, with night shows on Friday January 21 (see the incomparable "Riders in the Sky" along with the talented Aussie Carol Heuchan, local songbird Liz Masterson, and the hilarious Andy Nelson) and Saturday January 22 (featuring the one-and-only Waddie Mitchell, posture-perfect Canadian poet Doris Daley, the wacky Pop Wagner, and Colorado favorites Jon Chandler and the Wichitones). And don't forget to attend the daytime performances all day long on three stages from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday January 22. I'll be there sharing a song or two and a poem or two myself, along with a star-studded collection of western musicians and cowboy poets. This year, please note that all events will be taking place at the Ranum Auditorium Theatre, located in north Denver at 2401 West 80th Avenue.
