Picked up another Manfield guitar a couple of weeks ago. It is a "hummingbird" model (copy of a Gibson I think) Model # W65H. It sounds brighter than my other Mansfield and the bass response is great. Unfortunately, someone replaced the bridge with a Gibson model and got it slightly off center. This causes the high E string to come very close to the edge of the fingerboard the further up the neck you go. I'm not certain what type of glue was used but from what I can see, it is not hide glue. I think I'll replace the saddle with a narrower one to see if it will bring the string up somewhat. It is still playable the way it is and I use it almost every day but it would be great to have the E string wide gap narrowed a bit.
