If this is the same show I'm thinking of, it happend a few yrs. ago at at place called Darien Lakes in NY somwhere. He was touring htat summer for a bit as the annoucer & one of the singing acts for the Greatful Dead oriented tour the FURTHUR FEST. Workers were picketing due to weages I think or something. I forget the whole story as NY is too far from here in VA & I read about it in the news. I think how it went was after he crossed the picket line to do the gig & did the gig & it was over was when he found out about all the trouble.
