Exclusively revealing that Donovan will be getting a lifetime achievement award at the upcoming BBC Folk Awards. Exciting news eh?
It was a shame that the interview was conducted by Bill Turnbull....you'd have to go a long way before unearthing a bigger musical numskull than our Bill !
Lovely to see those old Top of the Pops clips though (especially dear old Isaac Guillory backing Barbara on 'January February'). It's ten years now since Isaac died and (and I still haven't seen anyone to match his artistry as a musician and guitarist)
