Donovan, as you all should know, actually came up with the idea of a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at least fifteen years ago, when he and his buddy Gypsy Davey were in discussion with the Controller of BBC Radio2 at a TM hangout in India. Donovan was teaching him how to finger pick at the time. Amongst his already existing lifetime achievements, Donovan was wearing a little denim cap way before Dylan had even thought about wearing one, drone drone drone (if you've ever seen him in an interview).
