Wow... the Mansfield Guitar story never ends... Some Mansfield guitars have model numbers identical to mid 70 Ibanez guitars... those are identical to Ibanez guitars, built by Hoshino-Gakki... This was confirmed to me by a contact at Hoshino-Gakki, who's mail was given to me by Mr. Peate junior years ago... For example, the model 693 is a common model. See peate.com website. They added a mansfield guitars section in their archive section after I figured it out and started sharing the mansfield guitars history. You may also look for Ibanez vintage website to match your model number... There are many Mansfield guitars, and some can be crap... but for sure, the mid-70 models with identical model numbers should have the same specifications than the mid-70 Ibanez... If you have a Mansfield Guitar, you should take a picture, write the known history of the guitar, and send it to Peate.com for their archive!! They will be pleased.
