I have a recording of The Corrie Folk Trio and Paddy Bell doing Jock's Adventure. I have always thought it to be comic music hall song about a farm boy's visit to the big city. My understand was Bothy Songs were the songs sung about the Bothy for entertainment. Is my understanding of these songs correct or is there more to Bothy Songs than what meets the , ah, ear? Don
