Marsden is a large village/small town west of Huddersfield in Pennine West Yorkshire, and has become a bit of a Hebden-Bridge style desirable place to visit in recent years. It's mostly surrounded by glorious moorland and countryside (inc NT-owned Marsden Moor) and has the restored Huddersfield Narrow Canal passing through. It has a few nice cafes and some pubs including the Riverhead Brewery Tap microbrewery/pub. The Tunnel End Inn is the pub above the village on the way to the tunnel end from which the canal and railway emerge/into which they disappear (depending on your perspective). I was going to add a link to the Tunnel End but my PC told me the site had dodgy threats on it.
