It wasn't long after the wedding
Till tears of regret I was shedding
I dreamt dreams of love
With my little dove

First it was her teeth on the table

Till she laid her cork legs
Out on the bed

I stared in blank amazement
At her glass eye so small
And I very nearly fainted
When she hung her hair on the wall
God blimey!

I stood there broken hearted
With half of my wife I had parted
So I slept on the chair
There was more of her there
