Thanks all. Still considering options, from pawnshops to loaners, although I haven't found any yet. My "holiday" is a silent meditation retreat where I planned to do hours of guitar playing since it is one of my current practices and I have a studio date two days after I get home. I can cancel the studio date if need be, but two weeks without playing could be a serious setback for me at this point (I have hand damage and only daily playing gives me a hope of recovering any ability), so my best bet is to find something to play pronto. I'll go shopping tomorrow (or later today, viewing the hour).
